OUR STORY

Built around the dynamic and diverse city of New York, the world's cultural capital, Kits by Food Craft began as a product of dreams, motivation, and empowerment. Learn how our founder, Aimee Moslares-Aguirre, ignited her vision and pivoted from in-person to virtual events with kits delivered worldwide.

1. THE GIFT OF EXPERIENCE

Born and raised in the Philippines, I moved to New York in 2011 to start a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Inspired by the city's rich diversity of New York City, the cultural capital of the world, I developed an interest in a variety of hobbies from cooking, mixology, and arts and crafts.

Making memories is more fun than more stuff.

OUR COMMITMENT

As an AAPI woman-owned business with a multicultural team, we value inclusivity and diversity. We are committed to promoting cultural awareness through food, drink, and craft experiences.

sUPPORTING THE AAPI COMMUNITY

heart of dinner - logo.png

Heart of Dinner works to fight food insecurity & isolation experienced by Asian American seniors—two long-standing community issues heightened by the pandemic.

They serve elders throughout NYC, delivering weekly care packages that are filled to the brim with culturally thoughtful lunches, fresh groceries, pantry essentials, and bulk ingredients. Their carefully curated foods are bundled inside uniquely decorated bags with handwritten notes of love attached.

At Kits by Food Craft, we curated an event that would help your team participate in its mission. Volunteer virtually or in person and create handwritten cards as a team. Participants are to receive a kit with card-making materials and a stamp to mail the handwritten notes directly to Heart of Dinner!
